Lulu came to us in a terrible state. Chained up outside with no food or water and being forced to stand in her own excrement. Charlotte took this scared little dog to her heart. She went on to change the life of a very deserving man.
In July 2022 I lost my black labrador Bernie to cancer. As anyone who has dogs knows it is a tough time and it doesn't get any easier. I live by myself in rural Norfolk, ideal for dog walking with beaches , fields on the doorstep. I needed a knew canine buddy and by word of mouth I was put in contact with Charlotte, she introduced me to Lulu. This little dog was nervous of me at first with small steps and a lot of love we have become the perfect team. I called her Lulu and can't imagine her being anything else. I keep in touch with Charlotte with updates and photos and can't thank her and her colleagues enough for what they have done for Lulu and me and other dogs like Lulu.
Peaches came into the rescue as she was seized by the Police. She was a timid little dog that had got used to learning things through a firm hand. Alyson took Peaches in and assessed how she was with other dogs and cats and as Peaches grew in confidence her bonny personality surfaced!
Peaches now lives with a lovely lady and a cat called Piglet and they are firm friends!!
Deku and his siblings came under the wing of the rescue as 5 week old kittens. One of their littermates had sadly died after being attacked by a dog. The rest of the litter were in urgent need of a safe home. Once again Charlotte stepped up, took the kittens in, reared them and found them loving homes
Nellie was a stray brought to us in very poor condition. She is a lovely girl and after some much needed medical care and a good bath she has found a loving home
Marvin came to us as a 6 month old puppy. He had escaped from a nasty situation and was found with string tied tightly around his neck. He was successfully rehomed in collaboration with another charity and is now well and truely settled on his own sofa
Peaches and all the animals we care for thank you foir your help and support
Praline was brought to us when the family that red her moved home and left her behind. She was 6weeks old and very poorly. Our veterinary team cared for her and she spent some time being fostered with a lovely family In Wiltshire. She is now happy close to the beach with her forever family
